COMEDIAN Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown will be returning to his home town to perform his latest live stand up show.
Tickets are now on sale for the controversial local comic’s Don’t Get Fit! Get Fat! show which will be taking place at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Thursday, October 1.
The event is strictly for people aged 18 and over and tickets will cost £19.
Grangetown born ‘Chubby’ has become a major name on the comedy circuit with his trademark multi-coloured suit and flying helmet instantly recognisable.
He has been touring the country regularly over the past 30 years and his DVDs have sold tens of thousands of copies.
Last month, the comedian raised £5,000 for the children’s hospice Zoe’s Place in Middlesbrough by organising a charity cabaret evening and composing a song for the hospice.
He has also previously handed over £5,000 to James Cook University Hospital as a thank you for saving his own life when doctors helped him fight cancer.
To book tickets for the show or for further information, call Middlesbrough Town Hall Box Office on 01642-729729 or book online at middlesbroughtownhallonline.co.uk
