RESIDENTS are celebrating after being awarded Best Kept Village once again.
Richmond Rotary Club holds the annual competition for communities around Richmondshire and this year 13 took part.
The Rotarians work hard to ensure that the judging is fair and accurate and a final round of judging takes place between the top three villages by the chief judges.
This year the final places were fought out between Middleton Tyas, Moulton and Skeeby with Moulton emerging the winner for the second time in three years.
The prize this year was a cheque for £400, and the village is putting the funds towards a defibrillator to be located at the Black Bull Inn.
Richmond Rotary President Robert Carey presented the cheque to John Gentry, Chairman of Moulton Parish Meeting, along with a group of villagers who were part of the winning team.
