Young footballers took to the Riverside Stadium on Saturday to raise money for charity in memory of a beloved teenager.
Four teams with players from both Brompton Juniors and North Yorkshire Soccer Academy joined the event at the home of Middlesbrough FC.
Two under 13s teams played a 70-minute match and two under 15 teams played an 80 minute match as part of a fundraiser for the Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of Grace Sanderson.
The 16-year-old, who was a student at Northallerton School, died in October, seven months after being diagnosed with leukaemia.
Her family have been part of the Brompton football family for many years, and Saturday's event, put on by George and Julie Harland from Harland Builders, has so far raised more than £1,600.
Organisers said the crowd were treated to some entertaining football across both matches with some lovely team and individual goals.
With 60 children from teams sponsored by Harland Builders playing at the Riverside, the event created memories that will last a lifetime.
