DERBYSHIRE stay top of the North Group after their Bob Willis Trophy match against Durham at Emirates Riverside was abandoned as a draw.
Any chance of play on the fourth day was always remote following heavy rain throughout the morning and it was no surprise when the umpires made the inevitable decision around 12.30pm.
It means Derbyshire take 14 points from the game and go into the final round of matches on 71 points, five clear of second placed Yorkshire.
Derbyshire, who are playing all their matches this season away from home because their Derby headquarters is being used as a bio secure ground by the ECB, now face Lancashire starting on September 6 with an excellent chance of reaching the final at Lord's.
